Curriculum
Adue International School uses an integrated curriculum, which is made up of Nigerian and British curricula. On this note, both Nigerian and British external examinations are mandatory. The training of JSS 1 to JSS 3 ends with two mandatory external examinations: the Junior National Examinations Council Exam and the Cambridge Checkpoint examination. The National Examinations Council (NECO) Junior Secondary Certification Examination (JSCE) is a renowned Nigerian examination system, taken by our third-year Junior Secondary School students. The Cambridge Secondary Checkpoint examination is internationally recognized as a leading educational qualification program.
The training of SS 1 to SS 3 also ends with two external examinations: the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) exam and the British International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) exam. The West African Senior School Certificate (WASSCE) is widely used across Western Africa and around the world. Also, the British IGCSE result is widely accepted by leading international Universities around the world. Exposure to these two examinations (WAEC and IGCSE) will undoubtedly give each student a well-grounded insight into the Nigerian national curriculum content and the British curriculum, thereby preparing them for both local and international leadership experience in their chosen career. Our integrated curriculum also lays the foundation that guarantees success in local and international university entry and qualifying examinations such as JAMB, IELTS, SAT, and TOEFL.
